Muhammad Adamu, a 30-year-old man allegedly stabbed his father,
identified as Mallam Adamu to death at Mairakumi village in Malammadori local government
area of Jigawa state.
Muhammad, who is alleged to be mentally challenged, killed the
father while the 60-year-old man was working in his farm.
A source alleged that the suspect was angry that his father
directed him to the mother when he asked for food.
There and then the suspect alleged grabbed an axe and butchered
forcing the villagers to rush to the police to report the incident.
Abu Jinjiri, police public relations officer, Jigawa state
police command confirmed the incident, saying that it could be investigated.
