The police in Ogun state,
south-west Nigeria, Sunday arrested two Fulani herdsmen, who allegedly killed
another Fulani herdsman in an attempt to steal his cows.

check showed that the incident occurred at Itadodo, Ofada in Obafemi
Owode local government area of the state.

Alao, chief superintendent of police and divisional police officer of Owode
Egba police station in Ogun state tracked down the alleged killer herdsmen,
identified as: Abdulahi
Anaruwa and Mohammed
Suleiman.
The duo allegedly killed one Garuba Mohammed, another
cattle herdsman, while he
was
with his cattle grazing, Friday October 28, when the suspects lured him
into the nearby bush and macheted him to death.
But, an okada rider who saw them informed the police who stormed the area to arrest them.
Ahmed Iliyasu, Ogun state police commissioner has ordered that the case be transferred to the homicide section of the state criminal investigations department for more discreet investigations.
