Authorities
of the Nigeria Police Force Wednesday issue a red card to miscreant not to capitalize
on the eclipse for Thursday, September 1 to commit criminal acts.
ASP Anjuguri Manzah,
police public relations officer, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja disused the
card, warning those contemplating to
exploit the climatic condition for the purpose of committing crime to have a
rethink about their plans as anybody arrested in the act will be decisively
dealt with in accordance with law.
According
to Manzah, FCT police commissioner, Muhammad
Mustafa assures residents of Abuja that
the command has put in place adequate measures to provide water-tight security.
Residents are also enjoined
to report any suspicious movement around them at the nearest Police Station or
