Promise
Ude, a 10-year-old girl, who was chained by her aunt for allegedly stealing N4,
000 around Adigbe in Abeokuta, Ogun state, south-west Nigeria, was rescued,
Friday by the police.
This is coming a week
after 9-year-old Taiwo
Korede, who was chained by his self-acclaimed pastor father, was also rescued
by a female NSCDC official
attached to Atan office in Ogun state.

Oyeyemi, acting police image maker for the stated that “a middle aged
man has been arrested in connection with the crime, while another woman linked
with the incident is on the run”.

promised that those involved in the evil act would be brought to book.
