Ladies endorse Otti to take over from Gov Orji in Abia

group rooting support for Dr Alex Otti, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA governorship candidate in Abia State, Concerned Abia Ladies, CAL, has told people of the state to either wake up to reality and vote a technocrat who has all it takes to salvage the state from effects of bad leadership suffered over the years, or make the same mistake and remain in Egypt.

Regretting that Abia, a state whose name has its root in the Bible,  should have been a pacesetter to other states of the federation, rather than continue in ruin due to bad leadership, the group said Otti is a man God has raised to rescue the state, adding that any vote against him is a vote to make the state remain in penury.

In a statement   made available to National Mirror, the group coordinator, Nnena Kalu Ogba, said that her group has been touring neighbouring states meeting with Abians to drum support for Otti, adding that the group would stage more aggressive campaigns in Abia State in the coming weeks to ensure the people do not make the mistake of voting mediocrity and stay in penury.

She said, “This is a golden opportunity for Abians to vote quality and proficiency, to elect a technocrat who will liberate the state from the effects of bad leadership which have crippled the state making it to remain crawling while other states are running.”

Stressing that CAL will continue to mobilise and conscientise the people of Abia for Otti in order to ensure true change, Ogba maintained that Otti remains the only option for Abians.

“I can assure you that Abia ladies are for Otti and thank God, even the young men, majority of the elderly men and women who are very concerned about situation of things in Abia, are all in support of Otti, because they have realised that he is the only option for Abia State. And come April 11, it will be Otti all the way,” Ogba said.
