Police detectives in Lagos, south-west Nigeria, are presently on
the manhunt for the killers of Olayinka
Mamowora, aide to Musiliu Akinsanya,
alias Mc Oluomo, chairman, Oshiodi
branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos.
Recall that Momowora, alias Mamok
was killed down Wednesday by unknown killers, who were alleged to be riding on
a commercial motorcycle, popularly known as okada.
The incident occurred while the deceased was at a barber shop to
have his hair cut, along Mosaku Street in oshiodi, Lagos, south-west Nigeria.
However, a police source in the area disclosed off records,
Friday that detectives have been given a marching order to track-down the
killers of Momowora as soon as possible.
The police may not overlook the possibility of the NURTW
leadership politics in the area in carrying out their investigations, our
source said.
