    By Emmanuel Udom
There are indeed talents in Nigeria. There are creative youths as well as the elderly in the country, who are determined to make it to the top, without cutting corners.

These gifted, talented, passionate and ever enterprising Nigerians are everywhere. Yes, Boko Haram is terrorizing parts of our country. But, terrorism is not limited to our country alone.

It is a global issue and even the super power countries like America and the United Kingdom are not immune to this.

December 20, last year, Stardreams Entertainment in conjunction with MD Abubakar Pool, Police College in Lagos, south-west Nigeria packaged an Xmas Fiesta, where some talented and up-coming artistes featured.

Touch carrying Nigerian artiste,  Zaki, Zaki, NG Onyeukwu, Kemi Ranky S-Dollar, a fuji artiste, Slim Joe, Peter Kilanko were some of the artistes Usman Mohammed Aliu a serving police officer in Nigeria and managing director of the entertainment outfit  said attended the event to boost the morale of the up-coming artistes

Speaking with our correspondent Saturday at his studio located at Mopol barracks, Ikeja in Lagos, south-west Nigeria, the Usman Mohammed Aliu said some music legends like: Onyeka Onwenu, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Mike Okri and others inspired him during his growing up years at Okota police barracks in Lagos.

“These legends ignited the talent, passion and the love I have for music and today, I have discovered more than 20 youths around the police barracks in Lagos, who are deeply talented in music and needed to be guided”, Aliu and indigene of Kogi state, born and raised in Lagos said.

His words: However, some of my challenges is getting sponsors for the artistes as I have been funding them in the last one year from my salary as a serving police officer.
