It was like a movie scene from Nollyhood on Sunday afternoon, when a fair completion man, who claimed to be a born-again exchanges blow with a bus conductor.
Eyewitness accounts have it that the incident occurred at Cele bus-stop along the popular Lagos-Apapa expressway, while the man was alighting from the bus.

Our correspondent gathered that the man, who openly told on-lookers, while the show lasted that he, boarded the commercial bus, popularly known as danfo at Sanya bus-stop, and gave the conductor N1000 note.

The conductor was said to have given the man his change while he was alighting at Cele bus-stop, clutching his Bible.

But, in checking the change, the man, who openly boasted that he was a fire-brand born-again Christian from one of the Pentecostal churches (names withheld) at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, discovered that one of the N50 given to him by the conductor was bad.

According to an eyewitness, the unidentified man was said to have grabbed the conductor, demanding that the bad note be changed for him.

“A struggling, which was said to have ensured between the man and the conductor, led to the two exchanging blows, even as the conductor was said to have jumped into  his bus, while the driver zoomed off and left the man with slightly torn shirt”, while he was said to be looking for his Bible, the eyewitness said.
