By Precious Udom, Lagos
Sanmi Falobi is one of my very good friends. He is in fact the publisher of Success Notions magazine, a periodic
magazine with a global vision based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The magazine
has the vision of inspiring, enlightening and empowering people across the
globe to take proactive steps to move to the next positive levels of their
lives.
In www.vicnuel.blogspot.com, we strive
to commend and condemn based on facts where and when it is necessary. Yes, bad
news is good news in the journalism profession.
But, we must encourage Nigerians and others,
who are truly and sincerely striving to serve God and humanity with their talents,
gifts, knowledge, experience and resources.
This
write-up is a clear advertorial. This is how we want it. The words must be out,
the readers must be sought and the message must be delivered.
Falobi has
come a long way. He literarily dumped his booming and lucrative real estate jobs
and businesses some couple of years back.
Ever since
then, he has been involved in the capital intensive business of educating, enlightening
and informing humanity through the media one way or the other.
He has written lots of books on entrepreneurship,
freelance journalism, real estate business, relationships, healthy living, carrier
and skills development, family life and business tips, among others.
Success Notion
is his latest efforts in the serious and painstaking business of inspiring
people on the need to zip-up their lives,
so to say.
Let us tell
ourselves the truth. There is no government anywhere in the world that could
provide jobs to its teaming jobless graduates.
In developed
and developing countries, citizens must strive to create jobs first for
themselves, through delivering quality and timely services to people and
eventually to others.
This is what Falobi has been doing
for years. He may not have gotten there yet. But, I know someday, he will.
This is the
gospel truth and the reality that is starring the 21st century job
seekers on the face. The times of free
launch are over.
The maiden
edition of Success Notion magazine is explosive. Segun Olaye, a structural engineer, who dumped his engineering
certificate to start a food processing business, tells his stories in the
magazine.
Olaye,
managing director of a Lagos-based Ayoola
Foods Limited, established some 20-years ago, says he has 115 staff strength.
In a country
with a jobless population of some 40million people, take it or leave it, 115
workers could be a far cry, but Olaye is helping the government one way or the
other to sort the unemployment mess.
Lots and
lots of people out there think they need tons of money to start a business. This
is dead wrong, says the inspiring magazine. Contact Sanmi Falobi on 08023626281or sanmifalobi@yahoo.com
to get the maiden edition of the article on how to “How to start your own
business without money.”
Carol Giannantonio also wrote on the “Ten Strategies for entrepreneurial success”.
This article gives the readers step-by-step methods of moving from where they
are to where they want to be in their career, finances, family, business, jobs,
etc. It is lifted and published in the Success Notion magazine.
Ogbo Awoke Ogbo. Off course you know him. He is the
popular motivational speaker, executive coach, and Nigerian entrepreneur. His article
on “What to do when you do not have
money” is published in the magazine. Very, very inspiring, I must say.
The
interview on “Creating wealth from
vocational skills acquisition” where Sanmi Falobi spoke with Mrs Omowale Ogunrinde, executive
director, Foundation foe Skills Development is also insightful, educative and
informative for you as an aspiring entrepreneur and others.
