The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has begged Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari to release Sambo Dasuki, former national security
adviser to bury his late father.
Late Ibrahim Dasuki, former sultan of Sokoto died yesterday at a
private hospital in Abuja at the age of 93 years.
But Sambo, his son is
presently going through tumultuous times in connection with alleged diversion of
billions in local and foreign currencies meant for the purchase of arms, has
been in detention for sometimes now.
Sambo served Nigeria
during the regime of Dr Goodluck Jonathan.
But, Professor Ishaq Akintola, director of MURIC appealed
for the release of Sambo by the Buhari-led regime.
