Today, Thursday October
13, 2016, is yet another unique day all over the world especially for women.
Every year, October 13
is regarded and therefore celebrated as a National
No Bra Day.
On this day, some ladies are expected to leave
her bras at home.
Reason: National Bra Day is aimed at promoting
breast cancer awareness and helping to raise money for research to find a
permanent cure for breast cancer.
Reports online reveal that many women who have survived breast
cancer are unable to go without a bra as they need it to hold their prosthesis
after surgery.
Therefore, this day and
month serve as a reminder for all women to be screened for breast cancer, the
report stated.
