Kashim Shettima, governor of Bornu state, north-east
Nigeria says members of the Boko Haram terror group have killed 100,000
Nigerians in six years.
Shettima made this revelation while querying the statistics
by international agencies on the havoc unleashed on the country by the terror
group.
An online media platform quoted the governor as
saying that the 16,000 churned out by the international agencies as the number
of people killed in north-east by the terror group in six years may have been grossly an
understatement.
