A commercial
bus, popularly known as danfo, plying the Ojodu-Ikeja route in Lagos,
south-west Nigeria Friday morning was burnt to ashes following over-heating of
its engine.
The incident
occurred near Grammar School bus-stop around Ojodu area of the state.
But,
police officers from the Rapid Response Squad, RRS unit of the Lagos state
police command acted promptly and towed the bus away.
This
is even as our correspondent gathered that there was no casualty recorded
during the inferno.
