A married pastor committed suicide after he mistakenly sent photos of his
penis to his church Whatsapp group.
The
deceased identified as Letsego was a pastor of Christ Embassy in
Limpopo, South Africa.
According
to Starr FM, Pastor Letsego thought he was sending the picture to his lover,
who is also a member of the same church.
He captioned the photo:
“Wife is away, it’s all yours tonight”.
Reality
dawned on him when the group members stared to react to the photos and
he immediately left the group.
The pastor was also said to
have stopped taking calls and 24 hours later, his lifeless remains was
discovered hanging down in his rented church house.
One
of his congregants who spoke under the condition of anonymity said: “Pastor’s
antics have always been a cause for concern, he was always seen in the company
of one of the deacons named Miriam and we suspected there was more to their
friendship than meets the eye.
“Quizzed by his wife and
congregants, he would shrug off the allegations and say as a Pastor he was a
father to everyone and Miriam was his favourite Daughter."
Meanwhile,
the Christ Embassy church is yet to react to the report as efforts to reach
their officials proved abortive as at press time.
