Facebook, Twitter Hit Niger Delta Avengers

Niger Delta Avengers has come under repeated attacks by the social media.

On Monday, the twitter account of the avengers was suspended. Three days later, on Wednesday, it Facebook account was hit.

Earlier, www.nigerdelataavengers.org the official blog of the militant group was also blocked.

Spokesman for the avengers, Mudoch Agbinibo, confirming the suspension of the twitter account had informed people thus on Facebook;

“Notice! This is to bring to your notice that our twitter handle @www.twitter.com/@ndavengers has
been suspended and our blog @www.nigerdeltaavengers disabled.

“We use this medium to appeal to our fans and supporter to be very careful with any website or twitter claiming to represent us.

We shall launch new accounts soon! We must continue the struggle!!!”
