Inspector.general of police: Mohammed Abubakar
By EMMANUEL UDOM
If a feeler emanating from police formations across Nigeria is anything to go bye, then N9, 500 may be deducted from each of the estimated 370,000 serving police across Nigeria this month end.
The deduction, www.allvoices.com reporter learnt is for the officers to purchase the new police uniform, whose contract may be handled by some Chinese businessmen.
According to our sources in at the Lagos and Abuja police formations, Mohammed Abubakar, the present inspector-general of police, baring last minute change of mind may soon give the order for the deductions to be effected.
Repeated attempt by our reporter to get across to Frank Mba, force police public relations officer for official comment on the issue was unsuccessful.
