Scores of travelers and
traders are feared dead following a bomb blast outside a popular car park in
Maiduguri, Borno state, north-east Nigeria.
According to Premium Times,
the blast came as a result of an improvised explosive which is suspected to
have been planted by Boko Haram operatives.
"I thank God for
sparing my life" said Usman Kachalla, a local trader.
if it is a suicide bomber, we just heard the
blast and I saw myself covered with dust."
Alhaji Khalil, an
official from the Civilian-JTF has confirmed the incident, saying that the
number of casualties has yet to be ascertained.
