The new Lagos
Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni
has vowed to re-structure the security architecture in the state in order to
ensure that anti-crime war is proactive, rather than reactive.
Owoseni gave
this hint while taking over from Kayode
Aderanti, who has since proceeded to the Force headquarters in Abuja.
The new
Lagos CP however urged journalists in the state to partner with the police in
the serious, deadly and slippery business of tackling criminalities, saying
that the media is closer to the grassroots.
He also promised
to continue from where Aderanti stopped.
