Fully armed gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists on Monday morning stormed Damaturu, the Yobe state capital, shooting and terrorizing with reckless abandon.
Sources said that the gunmen on entering Damaturu went straight to Yobe State University, located in the state capital.
According to our sources, as at the time of filling this report, residents of Yobe as well as students of the university are in panic, following the invasion of the suspected terrorists, who are alleged to be openly vowing to over-run Yobe.
