In line with the mission of the present Inspector-General of
Police, Suleiman Abba, 29 promoted police officers serving at Igando
divisional police headquarters in Lagos were on Wednesday decorated with the
new ranks.

recalled that IGPAbba on assumption of duties
promised to ensure that officers promotions and welfare come top in the list of
priorities of his administration.
Based on this, police officers nationwide who participated and
passed the promotion examinations were requested by police authorities to be
decorated with their new ranks.
Speaking shortly before the brief decoration ceremony, Ben Osuji,
a Chief Superintendent of Police and divisional police officer of Igando police
division urged the newly promoted officers to justify the confidence imposed on
them by the police through hard work and dedication to duties in their new
ranks.
Some of the promotees are: Sergeants Anthony Dumbili, Audu Yahaya,
Apata Frederick, Felix Egunyanga, Magdalene Oghogho, Morka Sunday, and
Felicia Idemudia.
Aliu Morufu Kemisola Okunfeyijimi, Kenneth Ojeata Clement
Akinboye, Mathew Patience, Janet Abuo, Eyong Onen, Ruth Agwu, Eneh Uduak and
Magdalene Micheal, among others.
