The police have arrested 17 suspects involved in the recent
killings in Kafanchan, Kaduna state.
Jimoh Moshood, force public
relations officer made this disclosure to newsmen Thursday in Abuja.
According to Moshood, a chief superintendent of police, 29
assorted firearms were recovered from the suspects after a discreet and
sustained investigation by the police.
The police
image maker said that the suspects would be charged to court on completion of
investigation.
His words: “The suspects would be charged
for inciting public disturbance, disturbance of public peace, causing mischief
by fire, culpable homicide, theft and unlawful possession of prohibited fire
arms.”
