Why Aregbesola releases N797million take-off grant

Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, governor of Osun state, south-west Nigeria has approved the release of N797 take-off grant.

The grant, our correspondent gathered is targeted at the newly created local council development areas, area councils and administrative offices.

Semiu Okanlawon, director, bureau of communication & strategy in the office of the governor stated that the grant also include stabilization fund for the existing local government areas in the state.  

Below is a breakdown of the grant:

*N15 million to each of the 31LCDAs;

*N9 million to each of the 3 Area Councils;

*N5 million to each of the 2 Administrative Offices

* N10million to each of the 30 LGs
