Nelson,
a phone software marketer in Delta state, mid-west Nigeria, reportedly died
while allegedly having a marathon sex with a lady at Treasureland hotel,
located in Ovwian, Udu council area of the state.
Our correspondent gathered that Nelson, who specialize in
downloading applications on mobile phones demanded sex from a female customer
who could not pay for the service he rendered to her.
It was a pay-in-kind arrangement,
which Obiogu Helen, the lady at the center
of the storm accepted.
Reports have it that Helen
had gone to purchase the mobile phone from the deceased’s shop located at Robinson
Plaza along Deco road in Warri south area of Delta.
Helen was short of N5,
000 to make complete payment for the purchase and had pleaded with the late
Nelson to let her go and come back another day to complete the payment but he
had refused and insisted she met him in a hotel to pay in kind.
It was gathered that
she eventually went to the hotel and Nelson sent her to buy drinks.
Father of two
identified only as Nelson died while in a hotel room with a customer in Delta
State.
It was in the course of
sipping the drink that Nelson slowly died.
Reports have, however,
alleged that Helen could have poisoned Nelson’s drink which eventually led to
his death.
When staff and
sympathizers at the hotel got wind of the incident, Helen was arrested after
they noticed she was crying and was in a haste to leave the premises.
Confirming the
incident on Saturday, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu, said the incident
happened on Thursday last week at about 15.30 hours.
The PPRO said: “One Gordon Tone, the manager of Treasure Land
Hotel, reported that one Nelson (male) lodged in his hotel along with his
female friend.
“We visited the scene
of the crime and no mark of violence seen. Nelson, a single father of two, was
found dead in his hotel room by 14.55hours.
“The suspect, Helen
Obiogu, of Ovwian town, has been arrested and detained.
“The corpse has been
removed and deposited at Noble Hospital mortuary for autopsy."
