RECOVERY OF ARM AND AMMUNITION: - On 15/5/2015 at about 2315hrs,
along Bale Animashaun road Alakuko,
Police men attached to Alakuko Division recovered a locally made pistol
with one live cartridge, one white lady’s hand bag containing a wrist watch, a Techno
handset phone charger and a Bajaj motorcycle
Reg. No. DGB- 086-UR abandoned by two armed robbers who took to their
heels on sighting the Police team. The case is under investigation at the
Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba Lagos.
(3) ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED
ROBBER/RECOVERY OF ARM AND AMMUNITION:-
On 17/5/2015 at about 0010hrs, Policemen attached to Ikeja Division acted on
information and arrested one Abiodun Azeez ‘m’ Segun Ogundeji ‘m’ and Eze Igbo
‘m’ in their operational vehicle one Mazda 323 reg No FKJ-21-DA along Opebi
Road Ikeja. Two locally made double barrel pistols were recovered from the
suspects. The case is under investigation at the Department of Criminal
Investigation Yaba.
ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED
ROBBER/RECOVERY OF TWO HONDA MOTORCYCLES:- Today 19/5/2015 at about 0010hrs, Police anti-robbery
team attached to Ogombo Police Division arrested some suspected armed robbers
at Okun-Aja namely Ibrahim Hassan aka Ak 47, the gang leader Hammed Suleiman,
Yusuf Akinsanya, Jide Araba, Segun Shola, and Gbenga .O. Items recovered from
the hoodlums are charms, and two Honda motorcycles and the case is under
investigation at Ogombo division
