Igbo leader donates police post over anti-crime war in Lagos




   Eze Peter Ezeagbanari, Agu N'Echemba Ndigbo of Apapa, in Lagos on Wednesday donated a police post to Nigeria Police Force in the area.


Speaking during a brief presentation ceremony, Ezeagbanari, who made the donation as part of activities marking his 66th birthday anniversary said that his humble gesture to the police was to partner with the law enforcement agency in tackling criminalities around Sari Iganmu and Ijora Badia area of Apapa in Lagos, south-west Nigeria.

The Eze called on residents of Sari Iganmu, Ijora Badia and its environs to be security conscious and assist the police in the area on information gathering in order to frustrate the efforts of criminals.

His words: As the 2015 elections are coming, residents should be conscious of their safety, stressing that they should not hesitate in reporting any suspicious activities that can breach existence of peace within their community to police division closer to them.
