NDLEA agents discover cocaine inside man’s @ Lagos airport


Anti-narcotic agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Saturday discovered 1.37kg of cocaine inside the anus of one Uchegbu Emeka, 33, a textile merchant.

Emeka was one of the three suspects arrested at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, south-west Nigeria.

He arrived from Cambodia and Sierra Leone.

The other suspect: Ogujiuba Zacchaeus, a 48 year-old electrician was arrested by the agents with 305g of cocaine, while attempting to travel to Tanzania.

One Emeka Okafor, 28, an auto parts dealer, reportedly ingested 1.37kg of cocaine.

The agency’s commander at the airport, Ahmadu Garba said all the cases are being investigated and the suspects would be charged to court soon.

Zacchaeus confessed that he was introduced to drug smuggling by an old time friend.
