Dr. Reuben Abati,
former spokesman of ex- Nigerian president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has been released from the custody of the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Abati
was detained for about a week by the anti-graft agency on allegation of collecting N100m from
the former national security adviser, Col.
Sambo Dasuki for a job not done.
EFCC however granted bail Thursday to Abati, but requested him to drop his international
passport and produce a surety of not below Level 16 in the civil service as
part of the conditions for his release.
