Oshiomhole, governor of Edo state, mid-west Nigeria is
about now preparing his handover notes.
Godwin
Obaseki, the newly elected governor of the state is expected to take over from
him November 12.
As part of the game-plan,
a 19-member transition committee has been set up to coordinate the smooth
handover ceremony.
Peter
Okhiria, chief press secretary to Oshiomhole in a statement Monday named Professor Julius Ihonvbere, secretary
to the state government as chairman of the committee.
Henry
Idahagbon, Osarodion Ogie, John Inegbedion, Aihanuwa Eregie and Joe Okojie, Igbinidu
Inneh, Joseph Eboigbe, Taiwo Akerele and Domingo Obende are other members.
Also
Aisosa Amadasun, Emmanuel Egharevba, Pius Omofuma, Theo Okoh, Ben Ogbebor, Magdalene
Ogbebulu, Benedicta Attoh, Osaze Ojo and Ahmed Mamudu are part of the
committee.
